Hot Chocolate
Hi there! It's Jeannie and I'm back today to share another card with you! I can't stop making wintery cards and of course, this is no exception.
Today, I'm using a mix of LDRS Creative items and took a crack at some no-line coloring using alcohol markers. I normally use colored pencils but wanted to step outside my comfort zone.
For the scenery, I used Treeline and Mountains stamp sets, stamping them with LDRS Alloy hybrid ink. Although this ink looks dark, it really worked out well for no line coloring. I also did a bit of masking to change the Treeline stamps a bit so it didn't have to be straight. I also added a second layer and colored it in to be a silhouette.
I added a snowman and the cute little penguin to the bottom of the scene from the Hot Chocolate stamp set. They look like such great friends!
No line coloring is a bit scary but I can't help love how it looks. I definitely will try it out more often. It was such a pleasant surprise to find that the
Alloy ink worked so well for it.
Have a great day! I'll see you soon with the new release blog hop in the upcoming week! Get excited!
