HSN Throwback | Celebration Mega Craft Bundle Encouragement Card
In a world that often feels chaotic and unpredictable, finding joy in the little things can make a world of difference. How do I like to spread happiness? Crafting of course! Join me on the LDRS Creative YouTube Channel for another HSN Throwback project using the Celebration Mega Craft Bundle!
This card is so simple, but look at all that color! Doesn't it just make you want to dance?! I knew that I wanted to use some of the rub-on transfers as ephemera pieces, so I used the wooden tool and transferred the balloons and the girl to white cardstock and cut them out with my scissors. Believe it or not, that's the hardest part of this card!
I trimmed down some pieces of patterned paper from the Celebration Mega Craft Bundle as well as one of the white slimline card toppers with a scalloped edge and adhered them to a card base. Once I started playing with placement of the ephemera pieces I realized that they were blending into the background. I used a stand-by trick to fix that - VELLUM! It softens the polka dotted paper just enough to bring everything together.
I finished off my card with some gold baubles here and there to accent my ephemera pieces. Be sure to watch the video tutorial to see how I made a coordinating envelope for this card! I'll see you next Friday for another HSN Throwback project!
