If Flower Were Friends

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today to share a card I created using a couple of LDRS Creative’s items. Today, I wanted to make an elegant card.

One of my current favorite floral sets, is the If Friends Were Flowers set. It's just so pretty and contains both the stamp dies. This set also has a large Peony bundle along with smaller images so you can create a large bundle, which is what I did today. I chose to use the main image and stamped it out using Raven hybrid ink.  Then, using the Masking Paper, I masked off the larger bundle so I could add an additional flower and extra leaves.

Because I added to the image, I wasn't able to use the die, but the image is easy to cut. To add a little bit of interest to the card, I decided to use the largest die from the Eyelet Lace Rectangle set to cut out of pink cardstock. Simply adding it to the card add a bit of elegance to the card without taking away from the flowers. I also decided to use the smaller rectangle from the die set so the background wasn't all pink.

One of the reasons I love the If Friends Were Flowers is because it includes the shadow and word die of Friend. I used black cardstock to help let the sentiment stand out. To finish off the card, I just added some pearl embellishments.

I hope you enjoyed the card today and get inspired to create!

Thanks for stopping by! Come back soon!
