Intro to Poppy Posy Stamps, Dies, and Layering Stencils

I love getting inky and adding quick color to stamped images with layering stencils! The new Poppy Posy Stamps, Dies, and Layering Stencils from the LDRS Creative Summer 2023 Collection are no exception! Find the full video tutorial on YouTube.
I stamped the large floral image from the Poppy Posy 4x6 Stamps with Raven Hybrid Ink as well as one of the sentiments from the set. Next, I used the Poppy Posy Layering Stencils to add color to the image. I kept to traditional red and green colors (Lipstick Jungle, Scarlet Rose, Key Lime Pie, and Four Leaf), but you could mix it up however you like! Once my image was colored, I used the Poppy Posy Coordinating Dies to cut out the image and the sentiment.

I used Alloy Hybrid Ink and stamped the same large floral cluster around the edges of a piece of white cardstock. I used a Blender Brush and some Lipstick Jungle Hybrid Ink to slightly tint the edges of the cardstock panel red. I wanted a bit more texture and shine, so I spattered red shimmer watercolor over the panel and mounted then mounted it onto a red card base.
I added the flower and sentiment to the center of my card with foam tape and scattered some pearls here and there to finish the card. Thanks for joining me!
