Life in Full Bloom!

I am sharing a card today using some of fabulous new die sets to create some very happy sunflowers!

 

I began by cutting a piece of watercolour paper with the largest of the dies in the PRACTICALLY OVAL set. I then used the RAINY DAY STENCIL to create a background and then started stamping with my RAVEN HYBRID INK.  I used a sentiment from the HOLLY – SPRING CHICKEN set and also the branch and the bees from BEARY GREAT DAY.

 

Using papers from the HOMEMADE HAPPINESS paper pack I cut one of the frames from the set. I took another piece of the paper and used the PRACTICALLY OVAL die to cut a bottom edge for my card and cut the shapes from the HERE COMES THE SUN set too.

 

I used the IN THE GRASS set to shape the top of my bottom edge and cut the face from the HERE COMES THE SUN into the centres that I had cut from brown card.  I also cut white card to sit behind them.

 

I coloured with watercolours…

… attached everything with 3D foam pads...

... and we're all done!
