Love in Bloom & Thinking of You

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with focusing on a couple different items from LDRS Creative to create a pretty, floral card.

I pulled out the Love in Bloom set because I've been eyeing a bunch of layered floral stamps recently and remembered this one is so simple and easy to use. I used two pieces of 4.25 x 4.25 white card stock so I could use the stamps with a stamp positioner to create a bunch of images quickly.

For the rose, I stamped the first layer using LDRS Creative's hybrid ink Soft Kisses. I used two different inks (Tickled Pink and Fandango) for my second layer so I could have different shades of flowers. For my last layer, I chose the darkest pink/purple I have, Boysenberry BlastFor the leaves, there are two layers so I used Banana Cream Pie and Prickly Pear PerfectionBy using a stamp positioner, I was able to quickly stamp out the roses and leaves from the Love in Bloom set.

I wanted to use the Thinking of You sentiment die set but I also wanted to frame it in some way. I pulled out the Eyelet Lace Rectangle die set, which has a nice rectangle die cut. The Thinking of You sentiment is a little bigger than the rectangle cut out but it works for this purpose. I used white cardstock for the sentiment and gold cardstock for the rectangle die cut.

For my card panel, I trimmed the black cardstock by a quarter of an inch and matted it on gold cardstock. I arranged the roses in the corners of the card panel and basically framed the sentiment.

Isn't it so pretty? It was really easy to put together. With the layered florals, it looks like it has so much detail!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!
