Marvelous Day!

Hello LDRS friends and welcome back!  I hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday.  For my project today, I focused mostly on die cutting and adding colour with some of the AWESOME new inks!!

Honestly, this card transitioned many times before I was done. It's completely different than the original plan I had!  Does this happen to you? :)

I trimmed this panel down to 3.75 X 5 inches.  Next, I die cut a flower and a couple of leaves from the Fancy Flowers Die Set, and one sprig from the Super Sprigs Die Set. I used plain white cardstock for this.  

These inks blend beautifully!! And the colours are amazing! I feel a case of "Full Set Syndrome" coming on, haha!  I used Olive Branch for the leaves, Lipstick Jungle for the heart, Dan-D-Lion for the small heart and Dark Wash Jeans for the flower. Aren't those colours delicious??

I adhered my line stamped panel onto a navy cardbase and basically foam mounted all my die cuts!

The sentiment comes from the new Mini Winnie Boutique Stamp and Die Set. I used the Dark Wash Jeans to stamp this.

I trimmed the sentiment into a thin strip and mounted that over the heart.
