Mitten Tags!

Hi everyone, Jane with you today!

Oooh I do adore Christmas and it’s nearly here!!!  Yay!! So have you put your tree up yet? Mine went up on December 1st and it will stay there until Jan 6th….so there!!

One of the things I always forget to buy at Christmas is tags, but why buy them when you can make them and I have 3 little tags to share today!

I cut my tags using the new release EYELET LACE RECTANGLE DIE SET which is perfect for any time of the year.  It has a lovely picot edge and I wanted to enhance it by adding some paper from the ARCTIC SNOWFALL 6 x 6 PAPER PAD.

I did this by using the side of the larger frame die to cut along the edge of one of the gorgeous papers.  After trimming down it fits the border of the tag very nicely and meant that I did not have to try and fussy cut the ornate upper edge.  Now that would have been a disaster! Trust me!

For each tag I used my stamping platform to stamp the snowflakes and sweet mittens from the HOT CHOCOLATE stamp set with my RAVEN HYBRID INK PAD.  This way I could make sure that my design matched on each one perfectly (well as perfectly as it gets with me).

I then coloured my tags with glitter gel pens, inked the edges and added glitter drops, ribbon and twine.  I think they would be very sweet for a baby’s first Christmas, don’t you?

This is my last post before the big day so I would like to wish you all a VERY merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and ultimately crafty 2019.
