Purple Flower Letterpress Card with Gold Accents

Hello everyone ! Lounon here !

Today, we will see how to add interest to a monochromatic card with an extra touch of texture, mixing LetterPress plates and texture paste.

Products used :

First, I used my Delicate Stems Impress-ion Press + Foil Plates onto light purple cardstock with a purple ink and my BetterPress LetterPress machine.

I framed my images with the 3 7/8" x 5" rectangle die from the Hand Torn Rectangle Dies.

I inked the borders of my rectangle with the purple reactive ink.

I used the first stencil from the Delicate Stems Layering Stencils set on my flowers with water reactive inks. To add some shiny texture I used my second coordinate stencil with gold texture paste. If you don't have any you can replace it with gold embossing powder. You just have to use your Watermark Emboss Pad directly on top of the stencil or with a brush and emboss it with gold embossing powder.
After that, I splattered purple and gold inks on my panel with a brush and water.

Finally, I matted and layered my panel with a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"  stitched rectangle I cut with my A2 Stitched Layered Card Toppers Die Set onto dark purple cardstock. I also added 3 gold gems on my card.

Et voilà !

May the craft be with you !
