New Glasses 6x8 Layout | Nathalie DeSousa

Hello there!

Nathalie with you today to share a bit of inspiration featuring some of the latest LDRS release.   There are so many beautiful products in the shop, so it was easy to use a few to create a 6x8 layout for my family journal.

I started this layout with  the new Delicate Stitches Scalloped Oval dies.  I cut a few of them from white cardstock, stacked together, and backed them with the photo.

I used the new 1/2" Scallop  Slimline Background Strips die to  create the border for my background.  These are set on a piece of Lovely Watercolor 12x12 Patterned Paper.  I also added the oval shape framed photo.

I am using the new Jordan Outline Alpha Uppercase Jumbo, Jordan Alpha Lowercase, Jordan Outline Alpha Lower Case to create  the layout title.   I stamped the outline with Raven Hybrid Ink, but only filled the lower case alpha with color ( Pistachios-a-Plenty Hybrid ink).   I used a sharp pair of detailing scissors to fussy cut each letter.

Finally, I am using the new Large Butterfly die to  create the die cut.   I backed the die cut with a piece of vellum that was color with the Bali Blue and Pistachios-A-Plenty Hybrid inks.   The butterfly die cut sits atop of the title.  A few enamel dots complete the page.
