Pastel Pastry Pal Cards
Hi guys!
It's Erica on the LDRS blog today, with a couple of yummy card, using the Pastry Pal creative kit!
It's a delicious kit, but it's only available for a limited time so if you want it, make sure to snag it while you can. It consists of layering stencils to create fun backgrounds, a cute stamp set and coordinating diecuts, as well as Offset Slimline Stackable edge dies.
I have coloured in all the images with alcohol markers, and then used the coordinating diecuts to cut them out.
To make my backgrounds I have used the A2 Diagonal Stitched Layers Card Toppers, along with the Offset Slimline Stack-ables for the second card, to cut out the pieces. On top of these I have used the Layering Stencils to add some pattern with Dan-D-Lion, Key Lime Pie and Tickled Pink. I had originally picked out Soft Kisses, but decided to go for the darker Tickled Pink instead.
On top of these I have stamped up some sentiments, one in Tickled Pink and one with Raven ink.
The pastry pals were then added to the cards with both double sided tape as well as foam tape, for some delicious dimension on the stud muffin one.
I also added some glossy accent to the heart to make it shiny, and the frosting on the cinnamon bun got a generous helping of that too, for a sticky frosting look.
I have made a video for these two as well, you can find that on my YouTube channel, and I hope you get a chance to watch it!
That's it from me for today, thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you found some inspiration here!
Lots of love, and happy crafting from Erica
Hi, not card related but I need to know where you purchased your eye glasses. I love them.
I can never find the larger frames.
Thank you
Luba
