Patterned paper play
Hello Everyone,
It is Zsofi here with a very simple card, which any crafter can do, even the most beginner ones! And who does not need a quick card idea when there is no time for an elaborate design?
I am absolutely in love with the patterned papers from the Daisy Delight paper pad. I found this pretty flower one which is too beautiful to be covered. I felt it has to be the queen of the show.
Therefore I cut a piece to cover the front of an A2 card. I die cut a heavy weight vellum with the small rectangle die from the Eyelet Lace Rectangle set to hold the sentiment. I chose vellum to soften the design and let the background show through a little.
I die cut the friend dies from the If friends were flowers set: the shadow die from black, the sentiment die from pink cardstock scraps. I adhered them together and glued it to the vellum rectangle. Then I stamped another sentiment under it using In you face orange Hybrid ink. To make sure I will not smear it until I assemble the card, I heat set it with a heat tool.
As a tiny bit of embellishment I scattered some golden sequins all around the sentiment to make this card more elegant. I hope you like today's inspiration and will check back later again.
See you soon,
Zsofi
