Petite Petals Bouquet.

Hi crafty people! Its Jen here and I'm back to share some inspiration and my last blog post of 2025!

Even though were have only just entered the winter months, I'm already looking forward to spring, which is favorite season of the year. For this months project, I took some pretty die cut leaves and florals from the new Untamed & Unfiltered release and paired it with an oldie but goody embossing folder for a soft, springy card.

I began with a side fold US A2 card base from light sage green card stock. Then I used the Chained Edge Die to create a unique and interesting edge along the fold line of the card. It may look complicated, however full instructions are provided within the packaging of the die.

Next I embossed a piece of ivory cardstock with the Romantic Florals embossing folder and trimmed the panel and splattered on some gold watercolor paint. Once the pain was dry I adhered it to the card base. I also trimmed a thin strip of mirror card and glued it along the join line between the green card base and ivory card panel.

For the center piece to the card, I  die cute several of the leaf and floral shapes from some pastel card stock and arranged them into a bouquet on the card front. When the glue had dried I carefully shaped the petals of the flowers to add a little more dimension.  I cut the flower centers from the same mirror gold card and adhered them into place.

I gold heat embossed one of the solid heart shapes from the aLined stamp onto a piece of white cardstock, then die cut it out with the smallest of the Pinpoint Circle Dies. This was then layered onto the second largest Hand Torn Circles that was die cut from more mirror gold cardstock. I love that these different circle die sets were designed to be layered together. I almost reminds me of a wax seal!

I adhered my faux wax seal onto the gathered flower stems which completed my card. I decided not to add a sentiment so that I can use this for almost any occasion! My favorite part of the card is the subtle texture from the embossing folder and the fun chain link edge of the card base.

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and I'll catch you all again in the new year!
