Popsicle Infinity Shaker Card
I am just so excited about the card I'm sharing with you today! I love to make shaker cards and it's been a long time since I made an infinity card! My craft room has been all about Christmas lately, so I decided to change gears and use some bright, summery colors with the LDRS Creative Ice Cream Party stamp set.
An infinity shaker card is so easy to make - but I encourage you to watch my video above so that you can see what I'm doing to create the card. I'm much better at showing a technique than writing about one! This card starts out like any other card - with a background panel. I used the popsicle image from the Ice Cream Party stamp set and stamped it all over my background with the Raven Mini Hybrid Ink Pad. I love this ink because it's safe for all kinds of coloring mediums! Today I decided to use water based brush pens to add color to my popsicles.
You could for sure finish off the card with just the watercolor background - and I've done that many times! For some reason I wanted a little more shine and fun in my life today! I pushed my watercolored background into a stamp pocket used for storing stamp sets and trimmed off some of the excess acetate. Then I dumped in some multicolored sequins that matched my background and wrapped the acetate around to the back of the panel and adhered it with double sided tape. Acetate pockets like this are perfect for creating an infinity shaker card! The shaker bits can't fall out and they shake all over the front of the card! Plus it's basically completely flat! No need for extra postage going through the mail! BONUS!!
I used the Raven Mini Hybrid Ink Pad to stamp the sentiment and label from the Ice Cream Party stamp set and added it to the front of my card with foam squares. That's all! I won't lie to you - I'm super obsessed with this card and it's one of my favorites I've ever made! And it's so simple! I hope it inspires you!
