Rainbow Vibes Stenciled Card with Ephemera
Rainbow is my favorite color. You can't be sad when you're looking at a rainbow of color! And if you're going to have rainbows ... you need all the glitter! I combined some some of my favorite LDRS Creative inks, stencil, ephemera, and some fun embellies to make this happy little card!
I can't tell you how many times someone asks me what my cardmaking style is or how I choose what to put on a card ... this card is it! My style is clean, simple, and easy .... and I LOVE ink spatters and glitter! As for how I choose what to put on a card, I honestly just choose what I like. If it makes my heart happy, I use it! That's how I feel about the products I used on today's card!
I grabbed the Favorite Things Ephemera Pieces and just started playing with the images. The I knew I wanted to use the hot air balloons - they make me happy! I added a sentiment banner, some stars, and lots of Favorite Things Enamel Dots. Only one more thing left to finish the card - more glitter! I used my clear glitter pen and added shimmer to the stars and hot air balloons. That's it! This card took no time at all to make and it's so colorful and happy and completely me!
I started with the Rainy Day 6x6 Stencil. It's my most used and most favorite stencil LDRS Creative has ever made! I use it all the time! I began at the top of my A2 card and blended Soft Kisses Hybrid Ink off the top of the stencil to create a row of puffy clouds. I shifted my stencil down and blended Tangerine Dream Hybrid Ink and continued on in rainbow order using Banana Cream Pie, Key Lime Pie, Marina Madness, and Parisian Purple Hybrid Inks. I added gold shimmer watercolor spatters - because I love them!
