Saying Thank You!

Hello everyone, it’s Jane with you today!

 

I have a little thank you card to share and it is not too short on colour I have to say!

 

I created a background on watercolour paper with some pigment powders.  I sprinkled them on lightly then sprayed with water and left to dry naturally.

 

I then took the SUNBURST RECTANGLE DIE and cut it from scrap card to make a stencil. I used gold gilding wax through it onto my background to add some interest and also used some of the tiny stamps from the BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS, CLOUD NO. 9 and LOVE IN BLOOM stamp sets too.

I cut a circle of black card from the HAPPY DAYS CIRCLE die set and then punched out a circle of watercolour card to fit on top of it.  On this I stamped the gorgeous heart balloon cluster from the CLOUD NO. 9 set and coloured with watercolour brush markers to hopefully match my background.

 

I matted my background onto a black mat and then adhered that to my A2 (US)/A6 (EUR) card blank.  I added foam tape to the back of my little topper to give some dimension and stuck it on centrally.  I then stamped sentiments from the LOVE IN BLOOM  set with RAVEN HYBRID INK  and cut and matted them onto black as well.  

 

A few glitter drops and we are all done!
