Season’s Greetings Postage Collage

Good morning and welcome back to the inspiration blog.  Cue the jingle bells, because today we are playing with the Season's Greetings Postage Collage Stamps and coordinating Layering Stencils

I started with an A2 white card panel and die cut the panel using the Nested Postage Collage Dies.  This will give you a card panel with an outline for lining up your stencils.

The inside of the stencil packaging gives great instruction on each stencil layer to guide you in choosing colors for each panel.  I used a lot of the same colors more than once as layering the same color will give a deeper, more saturated color and thus create a 3D effect.  The LDRS Hybrid inks blend so incredibly easily and smoothly.  They are very easy to work with.

The colors I chose for my card are In Your Face Orange, Raven, Alloy, Olive Branch, Peachy Keen, Snowy White, Kiss Me Red, Little Boy Blue, Iced Tea, Coffee Bean, Evergreen, and Banana Cream Pie. I covered Santa's beard in a sparkly paste for texture and I added some sparkly polka dots to the packages with a pen.  I also added sparkle to the trees and the mittens with the same pen.  I used some cute little black enamel dots for the snowman's eyes and buttons.   The images are all just darling!

To finish off the card, I adhered the card panel onto a green panel die cut from the same dies and layered those on a green A2 card base.  I added a few stamps from the Season's Greetings Postage Stamp set, because they're too cute not to include!!  You could also stamp these separately and die cut them to adhere to the card if you'd rather.  The die set includes dies for several of the stamps in the set.

I have the best time playing with these postage collage sets.  You can easily cut these apart and make stand alone, clean & simple cards from each of these images.  So many possibilities.

Find some time to get crafty today!  Hugs, LeeAnn
