Sending Big Hugs
Hello friends, Kirstynn here!
Today I'm sharing with you the Potted Hibiscus Stamp and Stencil Set. This set is so great for quick coloring that looks like it took you hours.
To start I began by stamping this in solid black ink onto white cardstock. I then lined up the the first stencil onto the image and used a blending brush to lightly brush on the ink. I used the Pink Tutu Hybrid Ink first and added it a slightly thicker in the center of the flowers. For the second layer stencil for the flower petals I used the smallest amount of Dand-D-Lion Hybrid Ink then went over that again with the Pink Tutu color to blend it in. For the leaves I used the Key Lime Pie Hybrid Ink for the leaves. I used this same color on both layers. I created a daker shade by layering the same color ink on top of it's self. While doing the floral elements I used a sticky note to cover the pot until I was ready to ink blend that portion. I used Alloy Hybrid Ink for the pot.
Once I had all the stenciling complete. I trimmed the panel down and used a light pink color cardstock to create a matted background. For the sentiment I used the Everyday Sayings Stamp and Die Set. I also used a white gel pen to add some small dot details onto the floral elements.
This card could easily be any type of card by switching out that sentiment. I think it would make a lovely birthday card.
I hope you all have enjoyed this as much as I have.
All Best,
Kirstynn
