Shore Lucky & A New Beginning

Hello there!  It's your lucky day because today you get two cards for the price of one!  Melanie and I are both sharing our latest creations with you, so grab a cuppa, sit back and enjoy!

For my card I used the beautiful girl from Heatwave, a sentiment from Shore Lucky, and the fabulous Sunburst Rectangle Die Set.

I started off by stamping that gorgeous image from Heatwave with Raven Hybrid Ink and colored her with alcohol markers.  I trimmed her out and added some sparkle to her feathers and shells.

I love how the Sunburst Rectangle Die Set creates an easy, but eye-catching background!  I die-cut it from red cardstock, layered it over teal paper, and adhered it to a white card.  After popping up my colored image with foam tape, I added a heat-embossed sentiment from Shore Lucky and some black gems to the panel.

Today I have a card using similar stamp set. This is the "A New Beginning" stamp set and these are such fun to color.

The Stamp set here "A New Beginning" is part of the most recent release along with this beautiful paper stack called "You are my Sunshine" isn't that the perfect name for this bright and cheerful 6x6" paper stack?

I have also used a couple different LDRS Creative dies. I had a lot of fun with the Super Sprigs set as you can see below.

Last but not least,  I also colored another stamp from this same stamp set and added it to the inside of the card.
