Simple background - Show Stopper
Hi there! It's Jeannie back today to share a card I really enjoyed creating and it's really easy to put together.
I pulled out an older favorite, Show Shopper, to create a elegant card today. I love the images from the All Dressed Up line. They are just simply amazing and I love the couture vibe.
I wanted to take the smaller images, using Raven hybrid ink, from the stamp set to create a subtleand muted background since I wanted the main girl to be the focal point of the card. I just placed them on an acrylic block and stamped repeatedly on a piece of A2 cardstock. The hearts I added in afterwards.
I colored the images using different shades of grey of alcohol markers for the smaller images. Once I finished that, I added a light purple shade around the images for some color. For the hearts, I added pink so there was a little pop of color.
For the girl, I wanted to color her using purple similar to the packaging. I really liked her dress in the photo. I added a smaller piece of vellum over the background to mute it a little bit more and then added the main girl to the front.
I love how this turned out and I think it looks so pretty! Can't wait to give this card away.
