Strawberry Patch!

So when is a heart not a heart? Well when it’s a strawberry of course!

 

I have used all the dies in the STITCHED HEART SET to create the strawberries on my card today.

 

I began by cutting my hearts from red card.  I then took the RAINY DAY  stencil and drew through the raindrops with a fine liner pen to create the seeds.

 

The leafy tops of the fruit come from one of the stamps in the STRAWBERRY PATCH set.

 

These cute little guys are also part of the STRAWBERRY PATCH stamp set and I stamped them with BANANA CREAM PIE Hybrid Ink for a no-lines look; colouring with watercolour pens and cutting out with their matching DIES.

 

My card is A2 (US)/A6 (UK) in size and I added a strip of paper from the FARMERS MARKET PAPER PAD down the centre, doodling some borders around all edges with my fine liner.

 

I added my strawberries and characters with 3d foam pads and used the HAPPY B-DAY die for my sentiment. I coloured this to also look ‘strawberry like’ too.
