Sweet and Simple Puppy Time

Hello LDRS Creative fans! My name is Rebecca Keppel and I am super excited to be here for my first ever blog post on the LDRS Creative blog! When trying to choose from all the fabulous LDRS Creative stamps and dies for my first post, I HAD to go with Puppy Time because I have two gigantic pups of my own.

Working with the LDRS Creative Hybrid Raven Ink is a dream because it both stamps incredibly clearly AND can be used with alcohol markers!

I stamped the images and did some very quick Copic coloring. Then I temporarily adhered the coordinating dies (that come in the same package as the stamps!!) and ran them through my die cut machine.

When creating a clean and simple card, I love adding some texture without doing any work lol! And for that, I used the Creative Basics Picnic Quilt Embossing folder. I love the look of white cardstock embossed with such a pretty design! I also die cut two sizes of Basic Stitched Flags and stamped my sentiment on the smaller one.

I was sure to make the pups eyes really stand out with some black dimensional ink. Adding some dimensional adhesive behind the pups and the flag also adds to the interest of the card without any real effort!
