Sweet Magnolias
Hi all, Kirstynn here.
Today I'm hoping to inspire you with some simple heat embossing. The card I'm doing uses the Sweet Magnolias set.
To start I used a dark navy cardstock and applied a generous amount of anti-static powder to the A2 panel. I then used the large magnolia stamp to heat emboss in white.
I really love the contrast of the white on the navy cardstock. Of course you could change up the colors and get multiple different looks.
Once I had the image that I wanted, I used some white acrylic paint to create some white spatter.
I then decided that I wanted to trim down the panel so that it was slightly smaller than an A2 size.
I then used the same stamp set to stamp a sentiment and cut it out using the coordinating dies. I used some foam tape to adhere that to the bottom left corner of the panel and then attached the whole thing to a top folding A2 card base.
My final touches were just a couple sequins near the sentiment.
I have always loved the magic of heat embossing. This project has been a fun reminder of how much you can do with a large stamp and some embossing powder.
I hope you found some inspiration today. Happy Crafting!
