Sweet Treats

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today to share a card I created using two LDRS Creative’s stamp sets named, Sweet Treats and Wordalicious
For some reason, Sweet Treats reminds me of the summer, probably because of all the ice cream treats. With stamp sets that have smaller images, I love creating a background panel with them. It's really easy to stamp out, color up and make into a card. This is exactly what I did. I stamped them randomly around my card panel with Raven Hybrid ink and colored them using alcohol markers.
I decided to use the label as the main centerpiece from Sweet Treats as a main focal point to feature the sentiment from the Wordalicious stamp set. This stamp set contains so many different sentiments and it really gives you the freedom to create whatever you want. With my limited space, I just went with a simple sentiment ("You are Sweet") that matched my card panel.
I decided to pop that label up using foam tape and added a bit of interest by adding a piece of pink cardstock to make it look like the label was affixed to a piece of ribbon, which helps break up the card panel.
To finish off this card, I added colorful dots to fill up the white space and it really adds to the card panel itself by making it look like little sprinkles.
I’ve had these sets for awhile now and it was about time I use it. I hope you get inspired to create!
Thanks for stopping by! Come back soon!
