There's Snow-one as AMAZING As You
Hello LDRS fans! Maria Russell here with you today sharing this cute winter-themed card, showcasing the Snowball Fight stamp set and coordinating dies, along with the Mackenzie 6x6 Paper Pad, Slimline Corner Scallop die set, Over The Hills die and the Up A Tree die set.
To begin, I stamped my images with Raven Hybrid ink and colored the images in with alcohol markers. I used the coordinating dies to die-cut them out.
Next, I created the background by die-cutting some Bristol smooth white card stock using the biggest die from the Slimline Corner Scallop die set. I die cut two pieces to create my layers. I used the Over the hills die and die-cut my panel a few times to create the snowbanks. I used the Swimming Hole Hybrid ink with some blender brush to add some color to the snow for added texture. I adhered the snowbanks on the Bristol panel with my tape runner and foam adhesive to create dimension.
I played with my layout a little bit until I got the perfect spot for my critters, and adhered them onto the card with liquid glue.
I finished my design by adding the cute little trees that were die-cut using the Mackenzie Christmas Paper pad, gray card stock and Over the Hills die. Here's another look:
Don't you just love the new Fall/Winter release? I honestly cannot even pick a favorite! I really had so much fun creating this winter scene and I hope you like my card today. The supplies I use are listed and linked below. Thanks so much for stopping by and happy stamping!
