Trick Or Treat

Hey there friends, Kirstynn here with another Card using the new goodies from LDRS creative.

I love all the fun that comes with Halloween and crafting is no exception to that. Today I'm sharing some inspiration with the new Large Word Halloween set. Let's jump right in!

I love these sentiments because they come with the shadow. First I created that sentiment with some glitter cardstock and then cut out the shadow with black. Once I had that, I decided that I wanted something bright and fun to go with this. So I did some quick ink blending with the Hybrid inks in the color Key Lime Pie and cut that out with a simple circle die. I set that aside and did the back with that same Key Lime Pie ink in the center and also added Grape Ape Ink around the edges.

At first I was a little worried that this wasn't turning out the way I had envisioned it, but I was patient, and I actually love the end result. Once I had the circle cut and the background done I uses some black watercolor to do some quick splatters. Lastly I propped that circle up on some foam tape and adhered the sentiment to the center of the circle. Once I had it all put together I added some quick silver sequins and that was that.
