Winter Bouquet Background
Hello all, Kirstynn here with some wintery inspiration!
I really loved the detail in the Winter Bouquet stamp and I thought that it would give a beautiful patterned paper look to use in a back ground. So that's exactly what I did.
I used the Scarlet Rose Hybrid Ink and stamped the floral image on an A2 size note card. I did it once toward the top, then turned the stamp 180 degrees and did it again toward the bottom. When I had everything stamped out, I used the Delicate Stitches Scalloped Rectangle set. This is one of my favorite dies, I find myself reaching for it often.
I wanted to add some gold to this beautiful red, so I used the Merry Christmas Word DIes to cut the main sentiment with specialty gold paper. I then wanted the shadows die in red, but I didn't have a paper that matched the ink the way I was thinking. So I put the ink pad directly onto some white scratch paper and then cut the shadow die out of that. This is a quick tip to make sure your colors are matching.
Once I had the gold and the red pieces cut out, I glued them together and added some foam tape to the back. I then attached it to background.
At this point I just glued on my note card to an A2 side folding card and added a few gold bubble sequins.
I hope this helped you all with some holiday inspiration.
Merry Christmas!
