Wishing You Joyful Tidings

Christmas projects always feel so magical when there's metallics involved! I mixed silver and gold metallic pigment inks on my card along with some Impress-ion Letterpress Dies from LDRS Creative!
One of the great things about Impress-ion Letterpress Dies is that you can use any of the LDRS Creative Hybrid Inks with them ... but you can also use pigment inks! My metallic pigment inks haven't been getting a lot of love lately, so I decided to whip them out and see what they can do!
I inked the two largest snowflakes from the Snowflake Ornaments Impress-ion Letterpress Dies with silver ink and just LOOK at the impression! AH! I'm obsessed! I will mention - you want to be careful when you're using pigment inks because they have a foam pad. Do as I say and not as I do - just a light tap tap tap of the ink will do you! I decided to mix in some gold, so I inked the smaller snowflakes with gold pigment ink and pressed them into the card front around the larger snowflakes.
I wanted a big sentiment to fill in the opposite side of my card, so I grabbed the Joy & Wonder Sentiments Impress-ion Letterpress Dies and inked it with gold pigment ink and pressed it into my project.
I added some silver shimmer watercolor spatters over my card front and layered it onto a piece of silver foil cardstock. That's all!

Beautiful card Lynnea. I love the metallic inks and the texture from the impress-ion dies is fabulous!
