You Are Tree-Mendous
Hi crafty friends! Maria here today on the inspiration blog! The latest Festive Holidays Collection is one of my favorites, and the Acorn Cubbies Layering Die Set, paired with the Acorny Hello Sentiments 4x4 Stamp Set and Anytime Background Stencils, makes the perfect combination for this fall-themed card.
I started by inking up some watercolor paper with dark orange, brown, and yellow inks. I used blending brushes and carefully blended the colors to create a seamless look!
Next, I used some texture paste and the Anytime Background Stencil to add some texture to the background. I set it aside to dry for about half an hour, then used my guillotine to cut it at an angle. I adhered the background onto some white top-folding card base.
Meanwhile, I created the cute acorn by using the Acorn Cubbies Die Set and adhered everything together with liquid glue. I added some colorful twine and foam-mounted this piece to the card for added dimension.
I finished the card design by embossing the sentiment using the Acorny Hello Stamp Set onto some black cardstock. Here's another look:
I had fun creating this fall-themed card today! Which one is your favorite from the latest Festive Holidays Collection? I hope you have an awesome day today! Happy crafting!
