Yuletide Scrapbook Page
'Tis the season for documenting memories! I used papers and ephemera from the Yuletide Paper Collection from LDRS Creative to make a simple scrapbook page documenting my son with Santa. Find the full tutorial on YouTube!
I placed my photos on my page and then started adding ephemera to draw the eye into the focal points of the layout. I grabbed a handful of flowers from the Yuletide Floral Ephemera Pieces and curled the edges so that they would stand out from the background and tucked them behind the photos. From there, I added some elements from the Yuletide Icon Ephemera Pieces and the Yuletide Tag Ephemera Pieces.
This page was so simple to put together! I love the Yuletide Paper Collection because the papers and ephemera do all the heavy lifting for me! I just chose my favorite background paper, some ephemera, and added some personal photos!
I selected one of the buisier patterns from the Yuletide 12x12 Paper Pack and used that as my background. I love the Christmas messages and the greenery. I knew it would create the perfect frame! I grabbed two of my favorite photos from when my son was younger and framed them with some die cut frames cut with the Delicate Stitches Scalloped Rectangle Dies.
For a finishing touch, I added some white liquid acrylic paint spatters to mimic snow all over my scrapbook page ... and that's it! I hope you enjoyed this easy project!
