One stencil, two backgrounds

Hello LDRS Creative friends! Silvia's here today sharing with you how easily is creating different backgrounds using the new fabulous "Brocade" stencil.

For the first card I ink blended inks in diffent colors through the stencil.

I then splattered it with some inks loosened with water and I darkened edges with iced tea and coffee bean hybrid inks.

I stamped one of the cute mermaids from the "Mermaid Treasure" stamp set, I colored it with alcohol markers and I cut them with coordinating dies.

For the sentiment I die cut the word "Aloha" with the "Sophie Alpha Lowercase" die set once from brown cardstock and one from gold cardstock and I glued them together.

For the second card I swipe some reactive water inks directly on the "Brocade" stencil, I sprayed with water and I pressed a watercolor paper panel on it.

I dried it with a hot air gun, I die cut it with the smallest die from the "A2 Stitched Layered Card Toppers" set and I darkened edges with a soft touch of iced tea hybrid ink.

I then stamped one of the beautiful sentiments from the "Garden's Edge Slimline" stamp set in dark brown (I used  coffee bean hybrid ink).

I used the biggest die from the "A2 Stitched Layered Card Toppers" die set to cut a panel from the "Country Lane" paper pad and I put everything together.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you'll enjoy these cards. Hugs, Silvia.
