Back to school notes
Hello everyone ! Lounon here !
Today, I've got something a bit different to share with you: two super cute notes/tags perfect for cheering up the kids as they head back to school. Just slip these little notes onto their agenda or lunch box to make the return to school a whole lot easier!
Don't want to fussy cut your images ? The bundle with the coordinates dies are here for you : here and here.
For the base of the little notes, I took two 4" x 5" (10.2 cm x 12.7 cm) pieces of light blue and pink cardstocks. I folded the 5" side in two. I stamped my bus on them.
I made sure the top of my bus was aligned with the fold. I kept my notes closed and fussy cut the bus to get my bus shaped notes.
If you have the coordinate die , you don't have to stamp the bus. Just take your piece of cardstock folded in two, place your die on top of it, making sure that you leave the top of the die outside of the paper to get a hinge.
After that, I stamped my bus twice onto marker-friendly cardstock. I colored them with my markers.
I fussy cut them ( if you have the coordinate dies you can use it to cut the bus and color the white borders left with light blue or pink markers).
Then, I stamped cute little critters and objects from the Back to School Critters Pocket Pals 4x6 Stamps onto white marker-friendly cardstock. I colored them and fussy cut them.
I also cut two stripes onto darker pink and blue cardstocks. I glued them inside my notes and glued my critters on top. I stamped my sentiment with blue and pink inkpads and I splattered some ink on the inside of the note with a brush and water.
Finally, I glued my colored buses on the outside of the notes.
Et voilà !
May the craft be with you !
