Beach Days Postage Collage Card

Hi everyone, it's Jen here! I hope your all having a lovely summer where ever you are? Here in the UK we've had the warmest summer in about 5 years and its been amazing. With this in mind, I wanted to share a beach inspired project with you all this month.

I began by die cutting the inner postage panel die from the Nested Postage Dies from smooth white card cardstock.

Next I aligned the coordinating Beach days stencils and ink blended all the images, being careful to mask off different areas when needed. Note for the sandy areas I splattered onto some dark brown paint to create texture.

Once the ink and splatter was dry I added some of the cancellation and other postmark images from the Beach Days Postage Collage Stamp Set in Black ink.

Then I cut the outer postage panel die from some dark blue cardstock and adhered behind the ink blended panel on foam tape. I die cut the word Enjoy from the Simply Words die set 3 times and stacked them togeather with liquid glue. Next I glued the word die onto a the white shadow layer and added to the card front. 

All that was left to do was to add the whole thing to a white, side folding A2 card base and I was finished. I love how quick and easy these cards come togeather using the postage college stencils. If you haven't tried them yet I'd highly reccommend them!
