Beautiful Bright and Bold Flamingos

Hi everyone, Its Jen here and I'm back to share another card with you all. Firstly, do not adjust the brightness on your screens!! Yes this month I decided to go big or go home with these adorable bright and bold flamingo's from the Birthday Bash 4x6 Stamps – LDRS Creative

I stated with a card mat of white cardstock measuring 4x4 and lightly ink blended on to the bacground with Tickled Pink – LDRS Creative. I concentrated the ink in the centre and faded it out to white to create a focal point for my images.

Next I took the Pirouette Pattern Templates – LDRS Creative and stamped both of the flamingo images, one of the  party hats and the streamer from Birthday Bash 4x6 Stamps – LDRS Creative onto the card base in a circular pattern. Then I stamped out the images of the flamingos and hats again on other piece of cardstock. I used alcohol markers in a variety of bright contrasting inks to colour the images. I used the stamped images on the ink blended background as a guide and placed the colored images over the top adding a small foam square to each one for some dimension. 

The sentiment was stamped in Raven – LDRS Creative onto some bright pink cardstock that I had cut into a circle. This was layered onto a bright green contrasting mat layer with some foam tape and placed into the centre of the design.

The whole card front was then layered on to a bright pink and green card base which really makes the design come alive!

Finally, I sprinkled on some gem stones in co-ordinating colours for a little bit of sparkle and shine.

I just love how this turned out!!
