Boo !

Hello everyone ! Lounon here !

This little cat had the fright of a lifetime when his best friend jumped from the pumpkin while he was cutting it. From now one he probably will inspect thoroughly all his vegetables !

Today, I share with you a cute Halloween card I made with the new LDRS Coverplate dies, the Halloween Party and the So Thankful stamp sets.

First, I used my LDRS Plaid Coverplate Die II into beige cardstock and the Plaid Coverplate Die III into dark brown cardstock. I also cut a  4 1/4" x 5 1/2" rectangle into brown cardstock and a smaller rectangle into beige cardstock.

I matted and layered the brown base with the Plaid Coverplate Die III.

I matted and layered the Plaid Coverplate Die II with the smaller beige rectangle.

I matted and layered them and splattered some brown pearlescent watercolors on it.

For the main image of the card I mixed two stamp sets and I did some masking.

First, I stamped all the elements on a draft sheet to help with the placement.

After that, I stamped the truck and the garland on masking paper. I fussy cut the car and I cut the small triangle of the garland.

On my marker-friendly paper I started by stamping my garland. I masked it. After that, I stamped my truck. I masked it too. Then, I stamped my little spider with her web and the cat with the pumpkin.

I removed the masking papers and colored the little scene with my markers.

I fussy cut it and glued it on the top part of my card.

Finally, I used my LDRS Chloe Alpha Uppercase and Lowercase Die sets to cut my sentiment. I cut each letter 5 times (I changed the colors of the B and the ! after I took this picture). I matted and layered the letters and glued them on the bottom of my card.

May the craft be with you !
