Boo-tiful!

Hey, everyone! Kathy here with you today for LDRS Creative!
Halloween is just around the corner! Do you have your cards ready for the big day? Today’s card, featured in the LDRS blog Inspiration Page is ready to go out in the mail.
This card was easy to make using one stamp and a few boo-tiful dies.
Using a die I cut a shape from the center of the patterned paper. I also cut the same shape from white card stock three times.
Then I ink blended the white piece. After allowing the ink to dry, I used the Trick or Treat Pirouette Stamps and stamped the spider web in both corners. I also added a few strips of colored card stock for interest. This panel was adhered to the other white panels.
I used the Sophie Alpha Uppercase Die Set. This alphabet set is one of my favorites.  The word BOO was cut out 3 times in white card stock and once in black. The black card stock was covered in embossing ink and embossed with sparkly embossing powder.
Because I wanted to add dimension, these four pieces were adhered together and then added on top of the colored strips. A couple googly eyes were added for fun.
The frame was adhered to a piece of white card stock measuring 4.25” x 5.5” using double sided tape. I will let you in on a little tip, after  peeling back the liner partially if you add glue to the open areas it will allow for some wiggle room when placing your panel to the base.
I used foam tape on the BOO panel because the glue allows for adjustment it was added to the foam as well.
After the panel was added I attached a few black gems.  These actually covered up a few oopsies!
I hope you enjoy this card and if you would like to see more inspiration please follow my blog.  You can also find a lot more ideas on the LDRS group Facebook page found here.
What type of crafting are you up to for Halloween?  I would love to hear from you so please leave me a comment.  As always, thanks for stopping by!
Kathy
