Card Making Sentiments Galore!

Hello, Kathy here on the Daily Inspiration page today! The holiday season is just around the corner, and I always find myself behind the eight ball when making multiple cards.  So today, I am sharing with you the fabulous new Christmas Sentiments stamps and the fabulous new Sentiment Stack Shadow II die.  These products are a must have in your craft room.  The good news is that LDRS Creative also has many more sentiment stamps that will coordinate with this new die for any occasion!

For this card I used the Elegant Slimline die set.  This set cuts this beautiful, scalloped card base. This set is no longer in the store, but you can easily use any of the slimline card dies.  There are loads of them available. I cut the base from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White card stock.

Then I used the stitched die from the same set and cut the Peace & Joy 4 x 9 patterned paper.  I glued this with liquid glue to the base.

Now for the sentiments and trust me this is more than enough sentiments for your holiday cards.  I stamped the Christmas Sentiment stamp in Kiss Me Red Hybrid Ink and then added clear embossing powder and heat embossed.

Next, using the Sentiment Stack II die, I cut my sentiments out.

I found a piece of coordinating red card stock and used the Sentiment Shadow die for that PERFECT sentiment shadow.

Just look at all those sentiments and shadows.  My plan was to incorporate them all on a card for fun.  I couldn't even fit all of them on a slimline card! I glued all the sentiments to the coordinating shadow and got to work!

I used the scalloped circles from the Elegant Edge Slimline set and cut the three largest starting with vellum, then the red card stock and then white.  I centered my main sentiment and added a few enamel dots from my stash.  I added liquid glue and adhered it about a third of the way up.

Finally, I figured out the placement for the rest of the sentiments.  I added some with just glue and some with foam tape.

These products will become a staple in your craft room.  It makes cardmaking just a bit easier.  I hope you enjoy this card and will take a peek at the new products AND all the coordinating sentiment stamps that LDRS Creative has to offer.
