Celebrating Your Special Birthday
Hello LDRS fans! It's Maria Russell on the blog with you today sharing a very simple card, showcasing the Cherry Blossom Layering Dies, along with one of my all-time favorite, the Offset Slimline Stackable Die Set, Perfect Petals Layering Dies (leaves) and the Essential Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set. Before I proceed, I just want to apologize that the photos are a bit off. It's been raining for a few days now and I don't have any good lighting.
I started by die-cutting the cherry blossom with different colors of card stock using the Cherry Blossom Layering Dies, and adhered them all together using liquid glue. I also die-cut the leaves using the Perfect Petals Layering Dies.
I cut the green pattern paper measuring 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 and adhered the same on a top-folding notecard. The white background was then made by die-cutting the edge of the white card stock using the Offset Slimline Stackable Die Set. For added dimension, I adhered some craft foam on the back and added it onto the card base. The leaves were then added with liquid glue, followed by the cherry blossom with pop dots.
For the final step, I stamped the sentiment using Raven Hybrid ink. Here's another look:
I hope you like this card today and got inspired. The supplies I used are listed and linked within the context of this blog post. Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!
