Christmas card

Hello my crafty friends !

Yuliya is here with a Christmas card featuring wonderful Birdhouse Border die and Diagonal Stitched Postage Frames Slimline dies. 

To start I die cut a postage panel from white cardstock using Diagonal Stitched Postage Frames Slimline die. I love this die set and use it a lot in my projects because there are so many creative dies which match many ideas. Then I inkblanded the panel using different shades of blue ink. 

Once the panel is ready , I die cut the house border using Birdhouse Border die from white glitter cardstock. And once again from red glitter cardstock to fill in the hearts and circles. I wanted to make some contrast , so red colour appealed to me a lot. 

After that I stamped the balloons from Garden Friends stamp set and cut them out using coordinating dies. I coloured the images with alcohol markers. 

Finally I stamped the sentiment We Wish You A Very Merry Christmas from Potted Poinsettia stamp set . And adhered everything to the panel. I added some white glitter hearts which I had as leftovers from birdhouse border die (white glitter cardstock). 

And I decided to make the scene snowy. I used white gel pen for snow dots.
