Clean and Simple Christmas Card with Matching Envelope
Hey there my friends! Daniel West, here, with a clean and simple Christmas card and matching envelope. These projects feature new items from the Fall and Holiday release this month.
LDRS Creative Supplies Used:
Sometimes you want to make the envelope match the card project. This is much easier if the project is also clean and simple.
To begin this project, I die cut the envelope pieces out of some lightweight cardstock. Before adhering all the pieces together with double-sided tape, I stamped one reindeer out the front panel piece with Raven Ink.
Then, I colored it in with alcohol markers and drew a bit of foreground with a fineliner pen. I added some falling snow with a blue marker all around the deer in a narrow ribbon down the front.
I finished off the trim on the deer, with gold coloring.
I repeated this process on the front of a card panel, but this time, I adde a second deer and a little bunny.
Then, I pieced together the envelope.
Next, I die cut the A2 Envelope Liner out of the same lightweight cardstock and stenciled in some blue ink through the Gingham Check Stencils.
After that, I adhered just the top flap to the back of the envelope's top flap with double-sided tape. This gives the liner some room to adjust down into the envelope when you close it.
I love how the images and snow match on both the card and the envelope. These two projects will be sure to brighten the day of a dear friend this holiday season.
I hope you enjoyed this little project as much as I did. You can save 15% off your LDRS Creative order with code DANIELW15.
