Easter Celebrations

Hi crafty friends, Kirstynn here with another card to share for LDRS Creative.

Today I'm sharing an easter card that I really enjoyed creating. I used some of my favorite products from the recent releases.

To start I cut a panel of white cardstock to 4X5 1/4 inches. I then used the two carrot stamps from the Finest Blooms Pirouette set and stamped the background randomly with some embossing ink. I then used some white glittery embossing powder and heat set all of them.

While I had this stamp set out, I went ahead and stamped the purple flowers and the bunny. I colored that cute little bunny using some alcohol inks and cut everything out using the coordinating dies.

To create the orange to yellow ombre, I began by blending Dan-d-lion, Lantern Yellow, and In Your Face Orange hybrid inks. I stated with the orange on the outside and faded into those beautiful yellows. Once I had it all blended the way I wanted, I used a clean dry rag and rubbed off the excess ink, leaving these beautiful carrots.

To stamp that sentiment I used the Special Occasions Set with embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I used a piece of scrap green cardstock that I had. Sentiments are such a great way to use up whatever scrap cardstocks you may have.

Lastly, I threw on some simple sequins and adhered the panel to a card base. I really loved making this card. It was such a fun one to put together. You could really do this style of a card with any small stamps. All of the pirouette sets work great for this because they are composed of small stamps.

I hope this sparked some imagination for each of you!

Thanks for being here!!

best,

Kirstynn
