Easter Collage Slimline Card

Hello and welcome back to the LDRS inspiration blog.  I hope you're having a wonderful Spring and finding plenty of time to craft.  Today I'm sharing a fun spring slimline card using the Hops & Waddles collage stamps along with a few new spring dies.

I started with a slimline white base (3.5" x 8.5") and stamped the Ledger stamp twice (in two different directions) in Raven ink.  I die cut the "happy" from the Simply Words dies in black card stock and the shadow in pink card stock.  This die set pairs nicely with the Simply Sentiments Stamp set and comes in a bundle, if you're interested.

Next, I die cut an Easter egg and a carrot from the Easter's on its Way die set.  This set is absolutely adorable!!  I've already made a stand alone card from this set (check out the LDRS Feature Days posts on Instagram). Now, time to do a bunch of stamping in a lot of fun pastel colors!!!!

I used Pink Tutu, Pistachios-A-Plenty, Parisian Purple, Prickly Pear, Peachy Keen, and Swimming Hole to stamp all the little goodies from the Hops & Waddles stamp set.  There are so many adorable images, you can't fit them all!  I tried!!!

Now time to assemble!  I cut down the card panel to allow layering a pink panel on the white card base.  I adhered the happy and the egg and carrot with foam squares for a little added dimension.  It really needs no other embellishment as all the little images are enough!  It makes me happy!! :-)
