Easy Rainbow Timeless Meadow Card
Hi all, It's Jen here and time for some more inspirational card ideas!
Have you ever looked at a pretty stamp set but felt too intimidated to colour it? I know I have! However, you don't always have to be the best colourist to be able to create a bright and beautiful card.

I began by cutting a US A2 panel from smooth white cardstock. Usins an acrylic block, I stamped a mixture of floral images from the Timeless Meadow Stamp Set in a rainbow of ink colours. To make the scene look like a wild meadow I varied the heights and added the adorable insects into the scene. I'm not the best freehand stamper and wasn't totally happy at this point but a good way to disguise this is to add splatter. So to fix my less than perfect stamping, I splatterd each floral image with its coresponding ink colours. I used a scrap piece of paper in order to contain the splatter over each area. To add a little more interest I also splattered on some black acrylic paint and put the card panel aside to dry.
Next I took the "Wonderful" die cut word from the Poppy Posy Dies and cut it out 3 times from black card and stacked them togeather with liquid glue.
I also made a US A2 card base from the same black card.
When the card panel was dry I trimmed it down to 4 x 5 1/4 inches and stamped the sentiement "Thank you for beings so" from the Dahlia Stamp Set in Raven Black ink to the top. The diecut sentiment was adhered to the bottom and the card panel was popped up with foam tape and centered onto the base.
Surprisingly I didn't add any bling this time!
So there you have it, an easy way to add some pretty florals to a card without the worry of colouring them in.
Hope you like it and I'll catch you all again soon!
