Easy Shaker Card

Hi Everyone,

Anushree here, and I am back to share an easy to make card. This one is a shaker card done using mostly dies. I will share my process below which includes some stamping too.

So let’s begin with the pictures first,

To make my card, I took an A2 size card stock. I pre cut some strips using 1/2” Stitched Slimline Background Strips Die, most of these papers were scraps or left over from other projects. This die is wonderful giving a new life to these scraps. I adhered these strips diagonally on my A2 size base card stock.

Next I cut the base using A2 Diagonal Stitched Layered Card Toppers Die, I also used Hexagons A2 Cover Plate Die to cut a hexagon for the shaker window. I filled the acetate bag with some gold cup sequins and attached at the back of this window. I cut a little bigger hexagon than the window in Mackenna Christmas 12*12 Paper Pack and attached it at the back of the shaker window.

Lastly I stamped the florals and sentiment using Hello Sunshine stamp set and after colouring in alcohol markers, I die cut them using coordinating dies. Everything is attached as seen.

Hope you enjoyed the card and feel inspired to make some shaker cards today, see you all soon with another card. Till then, happy crafting…

Hugs, Anushree
