Elegant Bouquet!
Hi all, It's Jen here and I'm back to share another card project with you.
This month I've created 2 monochromatic cards in white and kraft that would be perfect for a wedding or anniversary.
I stared by creating my own patterned paper using the Hand-Tied Bouquet 4x6 Stamps – LDRS Creative. I did this by taking a blank card panel and treating it with an antistatic powder then stamping one of the beautiful images all over it in a random pattern using Watermark Emboss Pad – LDRS Creative. I sprinkled the white background with gold embossing powder and white embossing power onto the kraft panel then heat set them with a heat gun.
Next I trimmed some corrugated card to fit a US A2 panel, trimmed the backgrounds and matted them onto gold cardstock. For the focal part of my cards I heat embossed the same floral image and one of the sentiments on to coordinating cardstock and matted them with more gold and corrugated card.
I used liquid glue to adhere them to the backgrounds and added the panels to the card bases. As a finishing touch I added a gold strip under the main image to ground the whole card. Surprisingly I didn't add any splatter or embelishements, I think these cards are shiny enough as they are.
I hope you like them and I'll catch you all again next month!
