Fall into November
Hi there! Jeannie back today to share another card with you using the Happy Fall stamp set. I just can't get enough. It's a smaller stamp set but it packs such a punch and is incredibly adorable.
I decided to create another scene card focused around the bunny and mouse image. They just adore each other and it's so sweet.
I wanted to create a one layer card so a LOT of masking went into this scene, but in the end, it was worth it.
After I stamped and masked all the images, I used some inks to help me color up the background by blending and I went for a orange/purple sky to give an autumn feel to the card.
Once I finish creating the background and the hill they are sitting on, I'll go ahead and color all the images using alcohol markers.
Lastly, I'll stamp out the sentiment "When I count my blessings, I count you twice". The sentiment is definitely my favorite of the set and it's perfect since Thanksgiving is coming up.
I decided to also trim this card panel down a bit so I could mat it on a piece of paper from the Happy Fall paper pad. I chose a really subtle pattern and it worked perfectly for the scene, without being distracting.
Thanks for stopping by to check out this card. I'll see you next time for another card!
