Fancy Flowers and a Cupcake!

Hello everyone, Jane here today!
 I hope you enjoyed our Inspiration Week Blog Hop the DT had great fun showcasing all the fabulous new goodies that you can now find in the store.

For my card today I have used two of the amazing new Polkadoodles die sets; FANCY FLOWERS & RIBBON GIFT FRAME DIE SET.

 

I cut the large frame from the RIBBON GIFT FRAME DIE SET  in black card and then cut the smaller frame from within it to use later.  I attached the ribbon frame to a 6x6 card blank and then took one of the beautiful papers from the SINCERELY YOURS 6X6 PAPER PACK and cut it into a square to fit inside the frame.

 

The smaller black frame I cut earlier was then attached to the card but with the corners at north, south east & west to give me a diamond shape.

 I made up the flowers by cutting flower bases from white card, inking the edges for dimension and adding the ‘lacy’ flowers cut from another of the stunning papers on top.  I cut several leaves from green card and stuck everything on in an arrangement I was happy with.

 

To finish I stamped the sentiment from the FLOWERS FOR YOU set with RAVEN HYBRID INK and added some clear 3D gloss dewdrops and a few pearls.

Hi everyone! Raluca here with a brand new card using the new and awesome Cherry on Top Build-a-Card, Pretty Perfect 6x6 paper pad, Lipstick Jungle ink pad and the You sentiment set. 

This die set is so versatile and you can create so many amazing designs with it. For my card I went with a CAS look that is super easy to create and looks so awesome.
 
First I prepared a white base using the die for the base included in the Cherry on Top Build-a-Card set.
Next I die cut the upper part of the cupcake from a pattern paper included in the Pretty Perfect 6x6 paper pad and the bottom part from brown cardstock and mounted them on the base using craft foam.
Next I die cut from white cardstock the label included in the Cherry on Top Build-a-Card set and stamped a sentiment from the You set on it using the Lipstick Jungle ink pad. I added a gold glitter banner behind it and mounted it on the bottom part of the cupcake. 
To finish my card and to add sparkle to it I glued a bunch of rhinestones on the upper part of the cupcake.
This card was so easy to make and it's perfect for when you want to spice things up :) I really hope you'll give this style a try!
