Floral Love Card
Hi there, Annie here and today I'm sharing a glittery love card featuring some of the stamps, dies, and stencils from recent releases. Stencils can be a quick way to create a bold background for a card that needs very little embellishment to complete, and the Bursting Bouquet stencil is perfect for springtime, wedding, and Mother's Day cards.
I started by trimming a piece of white cardstock to 4" x 5.25". After applying Kiss Me Red and Tangerine Dream Hybrid Ink to the panel randomly with a blending brush, I secured the Bursting Bouquet stencil on top. Then I added a layer of iridescent glitter paste through the stencil and set it aside to dry for a while.
I stamped the greeting from the Handwritten stamp set onto some white cardstock with both Kiss Me Red and Tangerine Dream Hybrid Inks, using a stamp positioning tool to stamp several times and create an ombre look. Then I cut it out with the label die from the Scalloped Rectangle Frame Die Set.
After stamping some of the flowers from the Handwritten stamp set and the bee from the Magnolia stamp set onto some white cardstock in Raven Hybrid Ink, I colored them in with alcohol markers and either cut them out with scissors or the coordinating dies.
To assemble the card, I added the stenciled background to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with foam adhesive. Then I popped the sentiment and flowers up in the lower right corner with more foam adhesive.
I hope you enjoyed this bright and cheery love card and thanks so much for stopping by today!
