For You and Yours

Hello everyone! It's Ashley here today with a new post in the LDRS Creative Winter Wonderland series! I just love winter and Christmas cards, especially with cute little critters, and the Woodland Wonderland set is perfect for creating them! Look how sweet they are all together!

I started by blending some hybrid inks onto white cardstock. I wanted a wintery, snowy look so I grabbed Mrs. Periwinkle and Swimming Hole. I used blending brushes to keep it nice and soft. I then added a bit of water to some white acrylic paint and splattered it across the background with a small paintbrush for lots of little snowflakes.

I stamped several critters from the Woodland Wonderland set and colored them with alcohol markers before cutting them out with the matching dies. I added a few highlights with gel pen before adding them to my card.

I created my sentiment from stamps in the Cardinal Seasons stamp set and stamped it in Raven hybrid ink. I finished by framing the scene with the black and white snowflake paper from the Christmas Cottage paper pack.
