Garden Friends Mini Scene

I am a pretty simple crafter. I like clean and simple cards with pops of color ... and I'm not very good at scene building. But I like to put my own spin on scenes by making them mini! I used a handful of LDRS Creative stamps and dies and created this Spring scene.
Let's get started! One thing I like to do to make my scene building more manageable is to create simple backgrounds. My card has all kinds of sunshiny feels without anything too time consuming. I die cut the Pretty Things Coverplate II Die from yellow cardstock and the Pretty Things Coverplate III Die from white and layered them on top of each other. Background complete! Now I just need some cute elements to go on top.
I stamped the tree, branches, and leaves from the Build a Tree Stamp Set and the birds and flowers from the Garden Friends Stamp Set with Raven Hybrid Ink. They pair together perfectly even though they were released a year or so apart! I colored them with alcohol markers and then used the Garden Friends Coordinating Dies and the Build a Tree Coordinating Dies to cut out the images.
I added the images to my card using liquid adhesive and foam tape for dimension. All that's left to add is a simple sentiment! I chose a sentiment strip from the You're Simply the Best Wave Stack and added it across the center of my card with a thin piece of foam tape. That's it! Easy peasy mini scene! I'll see you soon!
